ORANGE! and Zoom!

mlerulesHad a great time yesterday hanging out while folks learned to and practiced spinning poi. Who knew that the muscle memory from learning Florentine flogging would work so well when transferred to this activity? LJ-less M cooked up some fab Copper River salmon (topped w/olive oil, sliced lemon, garlic, and onion, wrapped in foil, then cooked slowly over the grill). Mmmm. s00j aka Fire & Strings (lite) was AWESOME. I somehow ended up as Fire Safety so got to put out flaming staffs and poi, but luckily had no need to shout "ORANGE!" and deal w/fire on flesh, foliage, or clothing. Pics to come.
Anyway, I've got to zoom around here now taking care of stuff 'n' things b'c plans've shifted and I'm flying to AZ tomorrow morning so I can help LJ-less L drive back in time to sign paperwork to finish up the house-buying process. Back by sometime Thursday.
