On Cat-Naps
Aug. 1st, 2007 12:50 pmThey're not necessarily short naps scattered throughout the day as patches of sunshine appear and one plunks down stretches out and lolls contentedly, awakening when the suns's shifted sufficiently that it's not so warm there anymore. Sometimes they're long-drawn out chunks of the day spent curled 'neath the blankies, becoming one of several lumps of fur/fleece on the bed. Today seems full of such-like, even as the ToDo list beckons. *yawn* Will get a few things checked off (such as paying rent and hitting the post office, at bare minimum), then return to the simple joy of lumpish sprawling.
Am I perhaps sleeping for those who cannot do it on their own? Can I somehow transmit sleepergy to those who need it more than I? Will work on this... Hopefully I'll sleep tonight, too.
