Breakfast Cereal w/out a lot of appeal for the youts of today. I like it though!

Yesterday was exhaustion, sleep, unloading, unpacking, doing dishes, and the to-be-expected crash 'n' burn after two (2) weeks of glorious fun (much delightful costuming, loads of driving - BOTH my cars've hit 100,000 miles this summer, tons of heavy socializing, seriously marvelous play, dancing, camping, visits to and from and with some of my Dearest Friends). Started spiraling down paths of not-so-greatness, even as I realized 'twas mostly b'c I was freakin' exhausticated, so headed off the dumps at the pass and'm now far more ready and able to face whatever I have to face, do what needs to be done, go wherever my whims take me (Northward bound most likely).

Actually, the whole sucky I-5 through Seattle thingie (Aug 10 - 19, 2007) may end up as a blessing in disguise, as it'll force me to stay local. Then again, it may just mean more lovely long coastal jaunts up yonder. I wanna visit Vancouver (B.C.) sometime soon-ish (before Winter, ideally). Haven't been since I cannot remember when (although the 'rents claim I liked it when I visited w/them several decades back).
