Sadly circumstances interfered and we didn't get to see him for more than a few minutes before the show, although we did get to enjoy the company of the always lovely poeticlioness for most of din-din at the Bagdad Cafe. I had a damn fine time w/lj-less M who knew all the songs and loves vnv nation's music fervently...which added tremendously to the fabulousness of the experience. Am quite pleased to have now experienced this venue - the Hawthorne Theatre. It's mighty close to mi casa. We were in a great location - up in the back bar w/no sight line impairments and a huge-@ss fan blowing on us. Tonight's show's sold out in Seattle and M'll be there w/a gaggle of friends and enjoy himself two (2) night's running.
