Another Fab Day

mlerulesI appear to have instituted a new tradition. Rather than the usual 2-hours-and-a-bit drive 'tween Clan Sidhefire and PDX, it now fairly regularly takes 8-hours-and-a-bit. sidhefire-prepared Thai chow wonderfulness w/her, ulesegisa, delerium3, and the 'rents (mom & J), we (D3 & 'rents & I) headed back down South...by Southeast. We ended up doing Mt St Helens - driving really close, checking out viewpoints 'n' visitor centers, taking many many pics. Pretty damned amazing. Still steaming. Lava dome still building. Trees still blasted flat, although stuff's starting to come back (27 years later). Now: exhausticated. Pics to come later.
O'morrow: prolly the rose gardens. Oh, yeah, and packing for a long w'end away. *yawn* G'night all, and to all a g'night.
EDIT: Summer options keep expanding. Can I fit a CT and/or Nantucket visit into the mix (I do so love the East Coast...'specially islands out yonder)? Cannot think on't quite yet...sleeeep sooooon.
