mlerulesMom sent me 'n' my bro an e-mail yesterday 'bout teaching her final class of Anthro 25 EVER. She's retiring from SJSU. (Of course, as she's in academia, this means she'll just teach 2 class (2 sections of Human Sexuality) for a while instead of juggling 4 or 5 section of various courses...but still, it's a huge change and she's ready for less.) A glance at the calendar reveals that my baby bro turns 38 o'morrow. This hardly seems possible. Needless to say I've got a lot streaming through my mind.
It's been lovely visiting w/fambily 'n' Dear Friends lately and I'm gonna make the most of my time(s) down here, but damn I'm glad I don't live here (SoCal) any longer. Gonna hit Sta Monica today, have din-din w/friends tonight, then visit the MouseHouse o'morrow.
