I'm In Love...and Lust

I could go on and on, gushing away...and mebbe I will. Suffice it to say for now that approx one (1) year back, when I realized (at the Orb concert/rave at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown L.A.) that I was breaking up w/L.A., I didn't have any idea how much in love w/PDX I'd be just a year(ish) later.

Re: in lust - after walking (!) to the Bagdad Cafe to sit outside and watch the sun set over the hills whilst eating dinner and drinking damn good beer - Black Rabbit Porter, I strolled over to Pix and enjoyed a blue cheese truffle *ooooooh* while listening to mellow live music and reading the food-porn-ful menu. On my way back home I stopped off and picked up the groceries I needed 'cause everything's w/in walking distance. *swoon*

Hmmm. Well, I'm gonna be driving up in May after my travels down yonder...wanna mebbe hitch a ride back up and see 'bout snagging free train/air/donkey-miles for the return? Will likely leave SoCal on Mon, 5/21 and arrive in PDX on Tu, 5/22. Will then hang out w/my cat/house-sitter 'til she leaves on Wed, 5/23 (you've met - at Northern a couple years back), then show you 'round s'more if'n you're game! Just a thought...
