One of those who crawled outta the woodwork today is an olde friend/acquaintance from way back when. He's one of the first I met when I began UCLA and worked at the student store back in 1984. We've kept somewhat in touch all along, although we haven't seen each other for prolly a half-dozen years or so now. He's freaking done gone and gotten married (4.5 years ago)! Hell, I hadn't known him to even DATE in all the time we'd hung out Just goes to show...something. Not sure what. Something 'bout the dearth of available guys and maturing late and recognizing the nuggets amidst the dross and wondering what the future holds for me along such lines.

So many of the folks 'round here seems so YOUNG. Making no judgment call. Just saying's all. :-)

Current concept roiling my thoughts: foul-weather friend. Some folks're indeed there when needed, but not around a whole lot otherwise. Hokay, now: more brain-dump time...

Companionship as a component of f-ship...or at least of a r-ship. I want someone to pal around with, as well as to help me through the tough bits. (Was gonna insert something 'bout being a whiny l'il b!tch, but it ain't so...I ain't little, so I won't.)

Scattered & distracted. Have found a possible place for my tea stash and'm filling it up right now. This is very necessary.
