Spent a well-balanced day yesterday taking care of stuff 'n' things in the morning then heading to D-land w/[livejournal.com profile] wolfvonstk in the evening: much wandering & roaming around, Tower of Terror (his 1st time), Indiana Jones, Pirates (his first time since new fanciness), din-din at Blue Bayou.

Everything worked out well today, too. There were very few people on the flight (which arrived ahead of schedule!), my luggage was the first off the plane so I got to the car rental place before the mad rush. Lunched at BridgePort Ale House (Hawthorne District) - walking distance from mi new casa. Met a couple of neighbors (a musician who works days as a special ed aide and a goldsmith). People are very friendly here. The sun came out this afternoon and all the local blooming plum trees and daffodils look lovely.

The landladies stopped by w/a bottle of wine and to go over a few things. (The hot tub should be working by the time I'm back next week.) The movers arrive o'morrow morning to unload my stuff into the new casa. I'm utterly exhausted and'll head to bed soon.

At times today the hugeness of what I'm doing dawned on me and threatened to eat me alive, but I got better and'm now merely thrilled at the opportunities abounding. Have LOADS going through my mind...but am far too tired to go into anything more now.
