Public schools are "entitled to teach anything that is reasonably related to the goals of preparing students to become engaged and productive citizens in our democracy." This is AMAZING. If the rest of the US joins in this it could actually help to lessen the stigmatization of gays and lesbians in our world.I know a couple kids who have lesbians aunts and they think it's totally normal and fine and dandy, because they were raised to think it's OK.

*sigh* the world, as horrible as it can be, it can also be great.

Now let's cross our fingers that they will not change this policy in a year. hehe no but really.,
