Yay - Baby Time!

So much for 9 months notice... Good friends o' mine have been trying to adopt for months and months. Had din-din w/them a couple of weeks ago and they filled me in on the latest. Apparently a possible birth-mom (expected due date: May something 2005) had just contacted their agency. Well, long story short: a couple of daze ago the baby was born, they were there for the birth and even got to cut the cord, and today Bridget comes home to her new fambily. Whew! Luckily they've already finished their new projects (new wood floors and indoor repainting). The two week-long vacation set to begin later this week to Eastern Europe's now on holde though (for several years, most likely).

This on top of this past w'end's wedding makes me feel wonderful: new fambilies abound. My best wishes to all my friend's fambilies in all their various permutations.
