Brain = dead. Lovely time up here. Fri: SM - SJ, sleep. Sat: Dickens, visit w/fambily, good homemade Italian chow. Sun: last minute shopping in Berkeley, drive to Carmel Highlands, x-mas caroling w/3 dozen of us in the living room and 2 accordians (sp) and candles burning on the tree. Mon: gifts exchanged, walkies in Pt Lobos (where 'twas gorgeous & unseasonably WARM), x-mas #1 w/x-mas crackers & flaming persimmon pudding sandwhiching (sp) full turkey 'n' fixin's, do dishes. Tu: b-fast chez quasi-fambily, saw 100s of monarch butterflies fluttering by and 1000s nesting in the trees, drove back to SJ for x-mas #2 w/more turkey etc., partial gift exchange, do dishes. O'morrow: more gift exchange, laundry, relaxation. Th: drive to Pleasanton (NE of here) for b-fast w/friends, then to SoCal (South). Fri: recover and pack. Sat: drive to Avila (Central Coast), ret'g home on Mon.
