Thought I was all better. Now realize I spoke too soon. No Cookie Day for moi. *pout* Still hope to make it out this eve for mild revelry in my PJs, although it'll likely be a mellow (for me) sorta thing. And now it's time to drink hot tea and knit the raveled sleeve of care s'more. Bleh.

Yeah, sorta annoying. Luckily, though, I've avoided all the nasty tummy-stuff that's going around. I've just dealt with - primarily by sleeping and drinking loads 'n' loads o' fluids and Airborne - sore throat (had no voice a chunk o' Monday), runny nose, some on 'n' off mild queasiness, general body aches & pains, lethargy, and extreme lassitude. Woke up just feeling lousy after a long night's sleep, so slept some more. Sleep is my friend. I like sleep. If I were in grade school I'd probably say I'd marry sleep, 'cept I'm older now and that sounds too close to college angst-y nonsense... Does this make sense? Or has my mind gone, too? ;-) Feeling much better, but must remember to take it easy for another couple of daze. SO happy to find snow here in Sta Monica today...that makes me feel much better!

Umm, christmas is like a whole nother universe in my life. I am going to Lauren's family's house for christmas eve and day, then meeting with my mom and g'ma here in woodland hills at my sis apt. Hanging out with my dad in Jan in Ridgecrest. Divorced family, and none of them, except my g'ma live in SM aymore. Mom in Gilroy (Garlic Capitol of the World!) and dad in Ridgecrest. *sigh*, plus I work retail, so Christmas time is not a happy time for me. :( Kinda makes me sad
