More Rambling

mlerulesBeen thinking 'bout struggles 'tween internal impulses and external obligations. Phew! I'm a lucky lucky gal. Only somewhat related (at first glance): I'm pleased that I've managed to dispense with much nonsense B.S. along the green-eyed monster line. Dunno quite how this has happened, but hope to keep it up. Hmm. Thought more wanted out. Guess it's still churning away inside, bubbling but not up so high or down so low or quite done yet as to be extruded/articulated here.
Today featured much lazing on a Sunday afternoon, appropriately enough. A quick rune of the day pull reveals: Sowelu (Wholeness, Life Force, The Sun's Energy). 'Kay, here's today's prayer, then, directed at the sun: The Gayatri - "You who are the source of all power, / Whose rays illuminate the world, / Illuminate also my heart / So that it too can do Your work." Keeping humble all the while.
A musical aside: I really really wanna see Paul Weller in concert again.
EDIT: DAMNATION - should've researched this last week so I'd've had a chance at the tix for his shows in NYC at the end of January 2007 which're now totally sold out w/tix going for $1K/pair on-line: one night he'll focus on The Jam, the next on The Style Council, and the third sample from his entire career. Still, the box set's out before too long, so at least I can get that.
