D-land Update

And now, onto more important stuff, like a recap of yesterday's Grand Fun Adventures in D-land. 'Twas nearly exactly a year ago that delerium3 and I took AJ (her mom, my aunt) to the MouseHouse for a day of fun. This time was even more fun that last time, which was a doozy. Feelings of comraderie, mutually appreciated silliness, role reversals (at times I had to break them up for poking each other and giggling), and the usual sights & sounds of D-land. In short:

DCA:
Whassitcalled - the Water Ride - Grizzly Rapids: we got nicely soaked, a welcome respite from the heat
Soarin' Over California: danged good fun, as always
Jedidiah Jones & Miner 49'ers: (shouldn't they be the '49ers?) - our fave fiddler stopped and chatted w/us afterwards; the second set of we saw had only one (1) Disney song, the rest were just good ole American bluegrass and such
The Wine Ride: with tiramisu (yum)

D-land (huzzah for handicapped back-ways in - we proudly flew the Jolly Roger from the walker all day long):
Mr. Toad's Wild Ride: so 'twas, 'specially when all three (3) of us squeezed into one car (Moley)
Alice in W'land: keep forgetting 'bout bits and loving it anew, 'specially waving the Jolly Roger around madly
Casey Junior's Train: duckzillas made their trad'l appearance, adding to the fun
Haunted Mansion All Jacked-Out: whee!
Pirates: fun, as always, despite the annoying parrot at the front

Squished Pennies:
Cheshire Cat: SQUEAL OF DELIGHT! 'Twas a new one, not there this past Monday on our last foray.
California Zephyr: the train
