Initial Uncertainties...

...are certainly flavouring these posts. Right now, though, it's lovely out: fairly foggy w/grey fading to white & the yellow dawn creeping in at one window. Trying to work on BEing w/out judging/evaluating...without considering where things're going, 'cause that's too danged hard to know. Standard measures and paths ain't useful. CanNOT hold up a snapshot of where things're at and compare 'em to anything to figure out where they're going. Tricky balancing patience & acceptance w/striving & hope. 'Cause what I'm used to doing is visualizing & feeling what I'd like...partially hoping that this'll help make it so, that paths will emerge from the mist, that shining lights will help me find my way. Since I have NO IDEA what the next bit(s) could/should/might/will look like, however, it's not super-duper helpful trying to imagine it. Thinking I'm gonna give into the joy (mingled w/fear) of ANTICI-say it yet don't dream it, be it-PATION and see what happens, come what may. Off in a bit to the LA County Fair, then leaving o'morrow for camping on the Kern River this w'end, thence directly to the Bay Area (SJ, SF, Berkeley), returning on Wed.
