SCORE! (and...The Shab-al-Hiri Roach)
Sep. 7th, 2006 10:57 pmThey gifted me The Tick vs. Season One (ANIMATED SERIES) and I did indeed squeal delightedly. YAY! Now I can finally put that 13+ year olde ragged VHS tape out of its misery. *joy* And they took me out to eat at Rajun Cajun - yum!
Also got an update on last w'ends's Con (Strategicon gaming con). Damn. I DO miss parts of that life. Mebbe sometime I'll go back for a few games, 'specially if'n Dennis or Tom's GMing. Love the idea of micro-press RPGs. Rather than micro-brew beers, it's micro-press games, mostly sans GM. The one where you're all junior faculty members at Pemberton (whatEVER) University vying for tenure - and you have to decide whether to swallow the super-intelligent cockroach w/mind-control powers - sounds awesome. Can't remember the name off the top of my head, but "Roach" is the 4th word in the title.
EDIT: The game's called The Shab-al-Hiri Roach: http://www.bullypulpitgames.com/games/index.php?game=roach
REMINDER TO SELF: Things that float my boat include enthusiasm, intelligence, natural story-telling ability, passion.
