What's a negative shine called? As in when someone doesn't take a shine to someone else (e.g., takes a negative shine to it, where it = person who's not so shiny). A dull? "I've taken a dull to you." How's that sound? Many wouldn't say that to someone's face, instead relying on silence, which can speak volumes. Fark the sounds of silence, I say!
Direct communication is best. My stuff here's often more abstract and off the wall (orbiting Pluto currently, checking for planet-ness with all the current gadgets). I do like more direct comm and engage in it at times, when necessary, hell, when I feel like it. Cannot let fears of ridiculousness or being afeared slow me down.

Shifting the metaphors from juggling w/many balls in air (and potential troubles by dropping some of 'em and having 'em land on my head/foot) to having many open doors ahead of me, letting in the air of potential sweetness ('cause those w/stinky-scents or nasty views or overly negative attitudes will get slammed shut, hard). Acknowleding a lack of control and a lack of (huge) concern. Phew!
