mlerulesThis morning I watched the minutes pass as I watch the miles pass when on a road trip. Every now and again I'd look up at the clock/odometer and note that apparently time/space has gone on when I was barely aware of its passing.
So, after hours of counseling and agreeing that calling was not the right thing, I did it anyway...and it was indeed the right thing. 'Cause now I know. That particular alternative reality was mere fantasy, a passing whim, real and right as rain while it lasted, but not going anywhere in 'ticular at all. Knowledge > not knowing/wondering.
