mlerulesUsually I do not observe TMI, instead believing that information should be free. Today, however, I held my tongue. Had a late lunch w/my ex-hubby and his fiance. She mentioned where they'd be staying in Carmel for a couple of nights after the wedding (the actual honeymoon proper - Alaska cruise - doesn't happen 'til this summer ). It's the same place he and I spent our honeymoon (lo these many years ago). Just got the feeling she didn't know this. Not that it matters, but I don't think it's my place to bring this up. Am amused though.
Spent yesterday w/her and her maid-o-honor doing hair, makeup, trying on stuff, etc. before heading out for a night on the town while the boyz did the bachelor party thing. Really quite nice and fun. I've been like the second honorary bridesmaid (so designated by the bride-to-be)...quite enjoyable. And the wedding's coming up soon, only 3 w'ends away. I liked his initial idea of having me give him away to her, but we're skipping this bit...just wiser and easier for all the rest of the folks who may be a bit confused/concerned 'bout why I'm there anyway. Some folks seem to have a hard time understanding how I'm good friends w/both of 'em. To which we must reply: Oh, Get Over It!
What a pretty day 'tis outside - enjoying it immensely!
