mlerulesYesterday at Curves I swear 30 seconds lasted longer than it's every lasted before. This happened repeatedly. Then I consider how long I've been doing Curves: as long as I've been doing my Student Teaching: four (4) weeks. Hard to believe it's been that long!
Four weeks down, six to go! I'll be out by the end of April. Gasp, sputter, where'd the time go? Of course, the next couple of weeks will help prepare me for the couple of weeks after that when I'm in full and complete charge. I'm gonna be absolutely EXHAUSTICATED each and every day. Then it's a couple of weeks of winding down, giving up what I'm doing bit by bit, 'til finally I pass it all back to the teacher and go on my merry way...and work to finish up all the paperwork for the course (the Porfolio). Huge hoop. But it WILL HAPPEN...it MUST. Then, well, then I guess I should get a job for the Fall (or earlier if'n it's at a year-round school). But really, I'd rather have the summer off and not start 'til at least August, ideally September.
Next qx (which I can't focus on too much right now): WHERE should I work? Where should I apply? SoCal, NoCal, Central Coast? Where w/in SoCal? SM, CC, SFV, LB elsewhere? Would really rather NOT move - and don't want a nasty commute -so somewhere close by would be ideal. But if'n I can't get a job close by...'kay, let's see if'n I can before asking What If I CanNOT...but if'n I can't, do I move (major hassle) or commute to start with and move later if'n it's too much driving and/or I really like the school/job and wanna stick 'round there? Decisions decisions decisions...
Someday I'd like to buy a house. So cannot happen in SoCal right now. So where do I go? This has been THE on-again off-again qx for the past few years. No closer or further now than I was then. (Of course, if'n I'd actually bought that condo in Sherman Oaks a couple of years ago when I could afford it...nope, can't go down this path.)
