Hmm, my initial research foray into how best (e.g., cheapest w/relatively few plane changes and fairly sane arrival/departure times) to get to QYQ from SoCal or WA or OR have left me disheartened. It's bloody expensive and I ain't used to paying sticker price for airfare...and really, a R/T ticket shouldn't equal a freaking car payment or a sizeable portion of my monthly rent! 'Specially when I can prolly get to (and back from) Europe for less. Sigh. Will prolly call my dad, get the name of his travel agent, and see what she can do... Worse comes to worst - and I WOULD be bummed about missing Cape Breton, NS - I guess I'll have to see 'bout spending more time up in the Pacific NW and/or travelling 'tween here & there. Pretty nice silver lining actually. Not there yet, however. Will stop for b-fast once the dinger goes beep-beep-beep and scarfle down some shrimp gyoza. Ack - and move the car now parked on Th street-cleaning! Yes, this is why I need to get into the garage and deal w/the carp there so's I can puts the car back in and stop playing the jigsaw-puzzle car-shuffle game. Okay, it's going beep-beep so's I'm gonna chow now.

EDIT: Oh, yeah, d'oh - it's Wed so I dinna have to move the car after all. Still, one less thing to deal w/o'morrow.
