mlerulesSaw a movie tonight (Inside Man), a surprisingly good heist flick. Then: Westward Ho! Been a while since I hit the beach at night. Lovely foggy night w/twinkling lights peeking through the damp veil.
I've blown a mess of thought bubbles...lobbed notes in bottles out into the ocean, a shallow sea, a pool, a puddle, a teardrop...we shall see whether any return...or spawn. Hope so. Expectations: not hugely high...fair to middling in fact. If you thrust your hands into the fire, hold 'em there a while, then pull back and find them caked w/mud...or dried blood...and ice cold, then what?
Split brain. Appositive thought v. Logical thought. Cross-chatter 'tween the hemispheres: thoughts not your own, as if another mind or person were thinking them, different from the way you would think (as far as you know/remember/realize)...as the right side spills over into the left, w/each one an independent sphere of consciousness, so when they crossover and both tumble into the one pit, confusion/trouble kicks in...could these be some of the voices in one's head?
Trips & Tickets: to ride, to travel, to punish you for speeding (breaking the law breaking the law), to get outta jail free, to go directly to jail w/out passing Go, one-way versus return.
