Time Travel (Backwards)

Just got an e-mail from my mom w/info on local (SJ) restaurants, grocery stores, movie houses, etc. The previous e-mail I'd rec'd from her was dated sometime in 1970. Today's was sent from 1961. Fascinating.

Some good meat to chew on at PolyMtg tonight. Nuggets from this chaw-fest will likely appear here later. 'Til then...hmm, nothing majorly relavant or epiphanal to sign off with, so just this note: I wish traffic on the 405 were like 'twas 1/2 hour ago always: mostly non-existent.

Oh, yeah, luckily I had the sense to check my blinking answering machine before heading to bed. Turns out I'm NOT helping a friend move o'morrow morn as she did it all herself already today. Yay! I'll sleep in a bit, pack the car, then start drivin' Northward.

Off Sunday, playing D&D til 7 or 8, work Mon-Fri 11pm - 7am. Monday have to work for the prof during the day. Mebbe Sunday nite?

I figured you fell down a well or were beset upon by a horde of ravenous wher-weasels or vampires or something. I'm dealing w/the crazed cat myself right now - Taj does this sometimes and has been put into pergatory for a while (folks' bedroom) - and will head up to Berkeley for obligatory fambily-time in a bit.
