Procrastination Post
Jul. 21st, 2016 03:41 pmMy 'rents arrive Monday for a week. My bro arrives w/new GF on Friday for a couple of days. (They'll stay at a nearby hotel/B&B, but'll be around for hanging out here.) The first PacNW fambily reunion happens on Saturday.
Okay. I've made the guest room bed with fresh sheets, laundered all towels and sheets, and procured replacement vacuum cleaner bags & filter. The dining room, living room, and kitchen have been swept. The kitchen's mopped. Also checked off list: clean bathroom floors and tub. Must needs vacuum bedrooms and hallway and clean bathroom mirrors and counters. Hence an LJ post...HA!
Have weeded backyard and West side yard and most of front yard against the house. East side's been weed-wacked and tidied. Have finished mulching all but the plants by the front porch this past week. Now have RumbleStone plan for the weekend to section off the plants in front of front porch from the lawn (and contain the mulch). Will obtain rest of required bits tomorrow, thus avoiding a visit to Home Despot over the weekend.
Okay, music's blasting and plan's've been made. Onto the final push of housecleaning!
