An Annoyed Sensualist

The worst part of this cold, which caused me to cut short my SoCal trip - luckily after I'd done most of what I'd set out to do (watch the sun set over the ocean, take long beach walkies and ride the Ferris wheel on the Santa Monica pier, catch the Troubie's holiday show - Snow Queen, visit w/various folks, plus enjoy bonus live music & burlesque) - is that I've utterly lost my sense of smell, and worse yet, taste.

My new soap smells like nada (cardboard?). Food has no taste (is this what ashes taste like ;-). My fave pizza left me sad. Why bother eating?! :-(

I'm feeling much better, but remain w/non-functioning nose & taste buds. Fingers & toes crossed this passes soon.
