Stolen shamelessly from lightfoote's LJ post, with great thankfulness that he's culled down our nearly 700 photos to a more manageable selection. Mebbe I'll post a set myself in a while, but for now you can enjoy our adventures vicariously here:

Friday - drive from Las Vegas to Zion Natl Park, get in a sunset hike (Watchman trail)
Saturday - hike Emerald Pools trail and Canyon Overlook where I manifest a desire to see desert bighorn sheep
Sunday - drive to Bryce Canyon Natl Park - hike Queen's Garden/Navajo Loop (Wall Street)
Monday - the big hike/CLIMB of Angel's Tower
Tuesday - drive back to Vegas, fly home

Upcomings FYI

I've been gone for a while. Am now home for (nearly) an entire week - gasp! Still pondering and enjoying the feelings that've welled up from recent desert adventures and time(s)/hearts shared. But also now looking ahead and realizing things're coming up that I should let folks know 'bout.

TENTATIVE: Wed, 3/19/08 (night before leaving for Spring Mysteries): ecstatic dance in Seattle w/shivana and whoever else ends up yonder

Th, 4/10/08: an evening at the Grind w/ebony_sphynx and lightfoote (I believe) and whoever else shows up

Sun, 4/13/08: Pt Defiance Park for potluck picnic and hike w/ebony_sphynx and whoever else wants to join us

Travels

Just as I fantasize about spending more time at home (South/PDX), I get several offers for travel possibilities in May (Bay Area, Florida, Europe). Won't think 'bout this quite yet. Want to spend more time enjoying just being here while taking care of stuff & things (such as a half dozen plus loads of laundry).
