Walking on eggshells here. Eggshells of the psyche. Danger is not that I'm gonna break, but that I'm gonna break something. On edge. On the verge. Gots to get good stuff done (stuff crap into boxes) so I don't do bad stuff (start chucking stuff into the street/dumpster). (Not that that'd necessarily be that bad.) Need to buy an Aero/Minute bed (Queen). Need to empty the waterbed and get rid o' it. Lists emerging of What's Left... ( Read more... )

ebony_sphynx, we managed to kick some packing butt this afternoon. Now ALL my digital media (DVDs & CDs) - other than the traveling case-ful quickly chosen before filling boxes which'll have to do for the next month (gulp!) - resides inside boxes, along w/most previously packed paper media (books). The footlocker's now filled w/board games, although there' still more to go elsewhere (must check garage for larger boxes).
O'morrow: take car in for LOF, purchase Aero bed (Bed Bath & Beyond?), get written estimate from (1) Allied (arr 'tween 11am and Noon) and (2) Redondo (arr 1pm), box more stuff, then w/the help of the dearhiddentass we'll empty the waterbed (Queen-sized w/bedframe and 7 water-baffles so not nearly as splorchy as the olde orig ones were - free to a good home so holler if'n you're interested), excavate 'neath it (what mysteries await?!), de-earthquake the now-empty media shelves/cases, and collapse into a heap.
Next up: hot bubbly bath w/a good book...then sleeeeeeep
