Finally got 'round to doing something I've been wanting to do for ages: took the l'il car out for a spin. It was happy to get some exercise. Toodled (okay, blasted) up PCH past county line, stopped near Sycamore Cyn/Cove for stone skipping, tossing the frisbee about & sacking out and reading on the beach before dining on deep-fried crustaceans (today 'taters also count as c'ns) at Neptune's Net and watching the sun sink into the sea. Loverly day, followed by an assortment of amusing BlackAdders and the FamilyGuy RenFaire episode.

Sounds divine. Just the mental imagery is enough to hold me over until I, too, have regular weekends off again. :)

By the way, at this point March 6th looks like a green light. My position within my company is a temp spot they are going to make permanent for me. They are aiming for March 6th as an official hire date (that Monday) but my regular shift will not likely change.

There is the very slight possibility that it might. I'll keep you posted as I get new info.

Yay - fingers crossed, both for that day & for going temp2perm! Also crossed b'c it's starting to look like delerium3 might have to work that day...so much for her "week off." Not sure though. Will also advise as details firm up.
