Caffeine-induced brain-dump follows. Realized that I'd recently started paying more attention to what I don't have than what I do. While it's fine - and wise and indeed necessary - to focus now and again on what's missing, plan for how to get it or at least better prepare myself and my life to find it and/or make it more likely to happen, then incorporate into my everyday life whatever's needed to make this plan reality and/or take any positive steps to acheive my goals, when the Poor Me stuff becomes the focus, it's just stupid and counter-productive. Best to remember what I've got going for me (understanding, fun and loving fambily, quite a few good/great/dear friends, financial security, TIME, decent health, a nice place to live, to mention just a few) rather than what's missing and how it could be better. 'Cause I'm damned lucky!

Thoughts bumming me out 'bout my disposability and being easy to replace are outta wack. If I'm easily disposed of or replaced by someone, then that someone ain't worth bothering with anyway...which can hurt, but it's true. I'm unique...and can be difficult...but the rewards for those who stick around, delve deeply to find me, care enough to know me, are pretty danged good.
