My pumpkin carving skills have deteriorated and now match my cake baking prowess: about an 8.5 on the scale of suck. Toothpicks came in handy, as did and will a sense of humor and an appreciation of the silly & absurd. Had a very nice evening despite amusing Jack o' Lantern difficulties. Watched Nightmare Before X-mas to help get even more into the proper holiday spirit. I've begun listening to x-mas music, too, so amn't quite sure WHICH holiday I'm gearing up for...prolly all upcoming ones.
