Incredible how loud sound's so slow when airplanes are going so super-duper fast. Managed to hit SF just in time for Fleet Week and lots of airplane funness, including Blue Angels soaring all over. Stayed at Hotel Monaco (Geary & Taylor) last night and dined at Le Petit Cafe w/in the Grand Cafe, where I last ate the eve of 9/10/01 for an early b-day celebration (good chow plus Fringe Fest). Off to Faire o'morrow w/an assortment of folks from various groups. Feeling tired now. Something 'bout a day and night filled w/irish coffees, G&Ts, goooooood Guatamalan rum, good other rum, home-made damnably fine absinthe, good pilsner...and whatever I've forgotten.

Actually, I have a pretty good idea... I, too, wish you were here. POUT. Soon you'll have your sea-legs back again (whatever the hell THAT means) and'll be ready for further adventuring of all sorts and kinds!
