Normalize Huzzah!
Jul. 27th, 2024 09:27 amI heard recently that current text/msg etiquette frowns upon exclamation points (much less interrobangs). Well, the heck with that! I favor normalizing the use of "Huzzah," or perhaps "HUZZAH!" None of this "too cool for school" attitude for me, where I cannot applaud or laud what I love for fear of looking uncool. (Harumph! ;-)

I agree fully about personal pronouns, but I'll admit I have had no end of difficulty using "they" as singular. Hey, I'm that guy who actually uses "whom" occasionally, so "they" can be a real grimace-maker for me.

I do grok. Yet somehow transitioned easier than I'd expected.
