Absence & Change

Wowzie. Afters years and years of nearly daily LJ-posts (often multiple postings), I just noticed that I've not posted anything in the past month. Feels like there're not many folks still here, so what's the point. Or something. For chunks of time the point seemed more more for ME to write and get stuff outside me, off my chest/shoulders, &c. But mebbe 'twas more for interacting and keeping in touch. Dunno.

Ayway, life's been pretty bizzy lately. (It often is ;-) Hit the PSU Farmer's Market yesterday AM w/friends and stocked up on starts (4 tomatoes and nearly a dozen herbs) for my backyard container garden. It rained on and off yesterday afternoon, so I've not yet planted them, although I DID see some decent rainbows.

In the evening, a friend arrived from SEA. We chowed and saw a fun bit o' theater (episode 3 of Sidekicks! at Action/Adventure Theater)) followed by tasty tasty ice cream at Salt & Straw and staying up chatting.

Today's Easter. Will hit Holman's for trad'l Sunday brunch w/friends, then head back home w/a couple of them to serve as Kitchen B!tch for their Easter Supper (helping cook ham 'n' lamb and do whatever else needs doing). Tomorrow another friend from WA'll arrive for an overnight, along w/wildflower hiking, hanging out, &c. Later this week I'll take another friend out to Crystal Springs for rhodies and hopefully ducklings/goslings.

Late next week the 'rents (popster-side) arrive for a long visit (4 full days plus arrival & departure partial-days). Praying that health & weather's good so we're not cooped up inside too much. Garden-outings will be had.

Must get on w/my day now. *waves to all & sundry*

I hit a point where it had been so long since I posted here that I just, couldn't, feel like everyone either sees my updates elsenet or hasn't heard anything from me in long enough that I'd need to do some HUGE catch up post, and then I think about just skipping that, but then, what to post where makes my brain hurt and then I get distracted and never write a post. Do still read!
