If someone can remind me how to make these each open in a new window (something involve TARGET=A ??), that's be swell.

to get your links to open in a new window, you need to be editing your post in the HTML mode. Inside the <> where it has the URL for your link, after the link, leave a a space and you simply add target="_blank" before the closing >... So an example would be like

[Error: Irreparable invalid markup ('<a [...] _blank">') in entry. Owner must fix manually. Raw contents below.]

PS LJ didn't like what I wrote, thinking I was trying to encode my reply, but really, it does work properly, I use it all the time in a regular post, just not in comments
