LJ is sadly reminding me a lot of FB, with this we are changing something to be different whether or not you want the change, and it will not be optional. I can hardly read my friends posts on the new "improved" feed, it removes all my former adaptations to make the screen easier to see, and the text lines short enough for easy scanning... Grrr.
At least I know that I'm not the only one that is not pleased. Sounds like there are thousands of unhappy LJ readers...
They have needed a better mobile feed for a while, I keep up much better on Facebook and Twitter than LJ because the interface on my phone is so obnoxious, and I've stopped thinking to check social things on my computer on a regular basis, so I approve of that! And infinite scroll sounds good too, not necessary, but it does make reading smoother and easier, so sure. Only little annoyed that my pretty background went away, but that post promises it'll be back so that's ok.
