Found myself blasted outta sleep a while ago by an anxiety dream that cut to the core of much of my self-identity and self-esteem. Found myself trying on a selection of emotions (hair-shirting) to see which ones fit most closely. Finding myself closer to the center (cutting to the quick will do this, apparently ;-) of stuff that's been bugging me.

Not sure what to do 'bout any of this, really, other than be aware of it...and note it, and check back later on and see if'n it's still primary or's been shifted off to secondary levels of whassup w/the me. And once again I find myself asking okay, now what shall I do about this situation to resolve issues, move along, try not to repeat myself? How can I use this as a growth oppo? (Considering trials 'n' tribulations as laboratories for self-knowledge/improvement.)

Spiraling, but not downward - or at least not fully and not trending ultimately deep 'n' dark. Spiraling in this instance will bring me back up again (which knowledge helps me grin 'n' bear it). A friend mentioned the thought recently of progress not going in a straight line. Now thinking of it more as a series of fits 'n' starts, w/some backward motion happening now 'n' again (spiraling 'round), sorta like how you'd wind up those l'il mechanical cars/animals by rubbing the wheels backwards across the floor 'til you put 'em down and they burst on forward (overcoming inertia).

Time to get up and get going now...
