mlerulesWell, THAT potential stress-monkey's off my back, thank goodness! I've been outta town (heck, outta the state) for all of July 'til last Friday afternoon. Went in to collect my mail at the earlier possible chance ('twas closed over the weekend), this morning, only to find a Jury Summons for jury service starting THIS WED (7/29/09). Language about possible contempt of court, arrest warrants, and any excuses needing to be submitted at least a week ahead of time blah blah blah. It's all fine though. I read everything through, called the courthouse, and've postponed it for a week so it'll begin on Wed, 8/5/09, AFTER FW09, not right before.
