Catching Up

mlerulesToday's been all about catching up: on sleep, on stacks of paperwork, on paying bills, on dealing w/things 'n' stuff, on getting closer to finishing various books I'm nearly done reading (Wm Least Heat Moon's Blue Highways, Steinbeck's Cannery Row, Heinlein's Stranger In A Strange Land) which I want to do before adding another to the list, and despite having just said otherwise: on beginning to read and take notes on David Holmgren's Permaculture: Principles & Pathways Beyond Sustainability (I'm more interested in the practice of what to do so'm skimming it so far rather than reading in depth 'cept where it seems worthwhile for what I want/need), on catching up somewhat on-line (not gonna happen fully), on listening & watching more of Neil Gaiman read aloud "The Graveyard Book" - it's FREE!
Meanwhile, the Petting Zoo's flight back from Hawaii is running late so I'll head out in about an hour to fetch 'em from PDX and shuttle 'em back to the Hive where they'll shift to![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
