Winter's Not Quite Gone Yet

Woke up in the wee hours - after an amazingly glorious day/night - to glance outside and wonder what looked so different, then realize 'twas b'c everything was coated in a few inches of white stuff. IT SNOWED! And it's still there. It's lovely out!

So glad we got our several miles of walkies in on Saturday b'c those logging roads's be far harder to go along now. Also managed to rip weeds out from around the trees in the orchard and mulch all around 'em w/wood chips. 'Twas a good w'end of balancing work and play (heck, it's all fun!). The birdies's loving the bird feeder and I've loving watching 'em play and eat and flit.

Returning to the Hive in a bit...then back up again on Th for V-day (V = Vancouver, as well as t'other) w'end!

Wow. More snow. We enjoyed the white stuff while we were at Copper Moon, taking walkies down logging roads. So cool balancing work and play while not seeing a distinction between the two, thinking it awesome when work becomes your play; we'll be getting out in our garden this week ourselves in celebration of llama beans. Hoping to see you soonest for Ingin and talkies if time permits. ;o)
