Help! Cat Advice Needed

What can I do to make the cat pee smell go away? They (or at least she) were (was) bad...in the corner under the computer hutch on the rug. I've splurted the area w/Nature's Miracle but it only seems to be working temporarily. Any thoughts/hints/suggestions appreciated. Unless they're of the roast the kitties in the baby weber grill variety. These I'll ignore. And stick my tongue out at you over 'em.

there's a product called NOK OUT that's supposed to work well. you need to use an enzymatic cleanser, and this one is supposed to work the best.

make sure whatever cleanser you are using penetrates into the carpet as deeply as the pee did. we forget this sometimes...

you can try oxy clean or Diaper Pure as well...

when was the the cat at the vet last? peeing outside the box is the number one symptom of a UTI.

thx for info - i'll check out whatcha suggest and keep fingers crossed. 'bout time for annual exam/shots so will ask 'bout UTI. thinking it might be an expression of displeasure at my waiting a bit too long to fully clean box plus being gone a lot in the fairly recent past.

that's always a possibility, but i would also check the UTI thing to be safe.
