Feeling the Force. Energy's building. Batteries're recharging. I have an urge, a sudden urge to be sitting in the garden of the Musee Rodin, gazing around me, taking in the sunshine, the smell of the grass, feeling the suns rays caress me, the breezes flow over and around me, bringing scents, redolent of Springtime in Paris. Taking a moment, several actually, to go back and revisit. Now looking forward, envisioning the joys and beauties awaiting me this Spring. I'm enjoying taking an evening now to just be, to look back, to look forward, but mostly to not look ahead or behind but take a moment to realize that right now I'm very pleased and contented w/life.

Talked w/a Dear Friend last night and said I'd found Serenity and Contentment. She sounded surprised, but pleased for me. Even traveling as much as I do, I find S&C fairly often. S&C often manifest on long drives. Toad Rips, 'specially w/other folks, rock on. Yes, I'm currently on a Queen kick. Watching The Making of A Night At The Opera. Listening to albums. Remembering sthe concert (early '80s). Yup. Back and forth. Balanced w/Here & Now.

I'd love to plan a future 'toad rip' with you, maybe the Olympia Peninsula for rainforests and hot springs or Hwy 101 South to . . . wherever or that kayaking in the San Juan Islands trip? Maybe we can look at our Google calenders and see where a potential 'date' might fit? ;o)

That would be swell! May's OUT though. I'd love to have you down to help w/stuff (if you're still game) and hang out some here, but I'm trying to keep my away time to a minimum next month. (Um, mainly b'c I'm already scheduled to be gone for 5-10 days of May, plus a long w'end at CopperMoon. Dangnabbit. I tried, I really did, to take May easy...still, it's more time at home than it's been for a while. A bit.) And for now I'm trying to keep June and early July fairly clear as I'll be in a wedding on July 12th so there'll likely be more wedding showers and such like to attend/organize - and since this is in SoCal, it's gonna be a tad tricky. So, in short, my schedule's mainly on hold for now, but I AM interested and it WILL happen...all in good time.

Sorry, that was me summing up what you said, not my response to coming down to help; I realized that question was in there later and it was possible for my reply to have more than one meaning. So, keep my bug in your ear for the future beyond July for 'toad rips' - which I often enjoy in the early fall when school is back in session - and we can look at the schedule for when it would work for me to come down and assist with your de-cluttering.

May's not so good, as I've 2 w'ends booked already and MUST deal w/crap then. June's fairly open, 'cept for whatever wedding stuff we're both be involved in/with. SO excited 'bout you folks coming up to visit!

June may work out nicely, as he'll be off school for the summer and my boss usually travels at the end of the summer. I'll endeavor to call you some night this week. I miss you!
