mlerulesSort of a stupid day today. Cramps. Residual exhaustion from tons o' recent stuff. Lack of interest/motivation in nearly anything. Yet had a pretty good day, nonetheless.
Enjoyed "The Golden Compass," ate popcorn laced w/Milk Duds, sipped cardamom-honey steamed milk while sharing a baked brie w/apples and hazelnuts at the Pied Cow. After agonizing mildly over not having done 'nuff for x-mas nonsense for about 1/2 an hour, ended up taking care of nearly everything in a single walk-through whilst accompanying LJ-less L on an errand of her own.
The complete insanity of last night's TSA interrogation-technique interaction (my role was merely that of exhausted chauffer) was ameliorated somewhat by the store's acceptance for return of the chains that TSA'd opened while they were in sealed box inside a sealed box in the belly of the plane b'c they "posed a potential threat".
Meanwhile, my mind's put at ease some as it's dawned on me that Yule's not THIS w'end but the following, so although I'm gone this w'end (Fri - Sun in Bay Area), I'm then home again for a few days before charging once more unto the breach, dear friends.
More rest & relaxation required. Luckily it's on the agenda. Well, there IS the gnoam painting...
Yeah. I've been balancing getting done what's needed to be done w/the rest. What a nice feeling. Must needs more of this. And so it shall be.
