"Fishnets Spandex Queen"

This line item on random receipt rose my sagging spirits. Found on the dining room table which I'm in the process of tidying in my own zoooooom way...not very efficient or thorough, but it works for me. Meanwhile, this line of dialogue strikes me as oh-so-poignant: "Perhaps I'll like painting gnomes." Is this utterance bittersweet or what?

I feel torn. Maybe it's better to think in terms of shattering...picking up pieces and starting all over again. Imagery of shattering mirrors abound.

Diversionary tactic or needed contact?

Mini-epiphany of the day #1 (thinking positively now): Not good to brace oneself against the onslaught of what may never come to pass. Don't worry.

Reaffirming my current life motto: Curious But Not Committed.

I'm scared yet tempted by Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookies, but minus the maple glaze as that strikes me as gilding the lily.
