Seasonal Shift & Update
Nov. 23rd, 2007 07:19 pmThis stems from what I noticed driving Northward last week. It's the tail-end of Fall now. Winter's fast approaching. Although some Fall colour remains, mostly the trees're bare.
Yesterday and today were sunny, bright, windy, and cold. Temperatures range from the upper 20s to the mid 40s. As I've only been inside, I'm not quite sure what this means. I'm looking forward to getting out and experiencing it soon(ish).
Finding myself grazing through various media these past few days, wending my way through a mess o' books - mebbe I'll even finish one of 'em soon (The Ethical Slut, Robert Ludlum's The Lazarus Vendetta, The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress, My Family & Other Animals, Who's Afraid of Beowolf, The Orphan's Tales - In the Night Garden) interspersed w/freebie movies on cable (Robocop, The Usual Suspects, Broadcast News).
Nearly time for more chicken broth, frozen peas, and Saltines washed down by mint tea. My "holiday" leftovers're nothing to write home about this year.
