This Morning's Sunrise Was Quite Lovely
Nov. 21st, 2007 10:11 amThe day's gone downhill since then. Spent two (2) hours on the phone w/tech support being walked through the process of archiving & reinstalling the laptop's operating system. Now I'm supposed to reinstall any/all 3rd party software, which is tricky, since the Office disks are in SoCal w/the ex. Thus, all my directions and recipes saved handily on my 'puter ain't so handy after all.
Meanwhile, despite taking it easy and hoping 'twas just a temporary thing, yesterday's on-again-off-again nausea and tummy pain has returned w/a vengeance, only not so on-again-off-again now. I dislike abominable abdominal crampings. Feels like someone's gripping my guts and now and again squeezing tight. Although several trips to the ceramic shrine resulted in no offerings, it felt better to kneel, just in case. At least I've managed to choke down four (4) Saltines and a mug of mint tea.
Not quite sure what to do 'bout this. I've got plans: places to go, people to see, things to do, stuff to cook. Will see how I feel in an hour. Blah.
EDIT: And since two (2) people have now asked, no, sadly I have no ginger in the house.
