My champion today = delerium3 who battled downtown L.A.'s morning rush hour traffic to come rescue me in Santa Monica. Rather than suffer through it again, we parked and walked along the Venice Boardwalk, b-fasted at Figtree's, strolled out onto the sand, and splashed about in the Pacific before heading back. Now I really NEED sleep.

Yeah, she rox hard/well. Dealing w/traffic's one of her least fave things in the entire world, but as soon as she heard my voice crack on the phone yesterday morning, she volunteered to rescue me, just seconds before I begged her to come out.
