A Good Day

mlerulesLiking what's becoming a bit of a tradition: waking up and IM'ing w/a new(ish) friend who I've known for over a year but'm just getting to know better recently. Quite pleased to turn on LJ-less L to Firefly. We've caught up now w/what they're showing at the theatre for the Freebie Tuesday nights. Just one (1) more Tuesday of episodes 'til the Freebie Serenity showing on Tu, 9/4/07, at which time the fun ends. (*sniff*) Yeah, she may well just stay here 'til/through then rather than return to AZ...and since she's already scheduled (oh so kindly) to cat/housesit for me from 9/13-21(ish)/07, it makes a certain amount of sense. New fun'll begin after that, methinks...
Now I'm turning L onto A Knight's Tale. Quite fun - she's liking it, too. I DO so enjoy mutual turn-ons.
T'other bits I remember fondly 'bout today: a deep blue/purple flower w/white inner bits nestled in L's lawn amongst dandelions, the realization that Autumn's approaching, napping in the sunlight on the bed whilst looking out and up at the leaves of the huge maple next door.
I've been home and hereabouts for quite some time now, for days and days in fact. Just checked and I've been hereabouts (in state) for two (2) solid weeks now! Will continue to stay local for the next week(ish). Gonna head Northward again sometime soon(ish) for more visiting, dancing, connecting. Then gonna head Southward (after another trip Northward, as per tradition). Not gonna drive down via Redwoods and the Pacific 'til Fall after all (late Sept/early-mid Oct). Instead I'll fly to the Bay Area (Sat, 9/8/07) so as to be part of some good fambily stuff, then fly to SoCal for about a week and a half, then fly back home again. Still need to make reservations for the last two (2) legs of this trip.
