Feels Surreal...

Feeling sorta grownup, like I've finally left the nest. First time I've lived alone in a while. And really, the last place I lived was the ONLY time I lived alone EVER (post-live-in-b-friend and pre-delerium3), what w/growing up w/fambily in the house, living w/roomies/housemates/hubby in dorms & apartments. Now I'm in a house (renting, not mortgaging, but still) w/a yard. And much like I've heard 'bout giving birth (that afterwards mom's tend to forget the pain of childbirth), the moving process's hellishness has faded tremendously and I'm now focussed forward (and, of course, on the moment at hand). I choose what to do and when. It's up to me. It's freeing...if daunting at times...but I'm up to it.

Congrats on feeling grown up. I felt that way when I moved to Fresno alone. I didn't like it. But I'm glad you seem to be enjoying it!
