Life's Good
Mar. 24th, 2007 05:22 amSat about in my PJs for a while this eve debating whether to join
infrarad and some of his friends at the BackStage Bar (and pool hall) for his b-day. Wasn't feeling hugely social, but ended up going...and having quite a good time w/them. The jukebox there kicked butt. Haven't ever seen a copy of Brian Eno's Here Come the Warm Jets in a jukebox before. We talked books, authors, philosophy, math, hiking and music and living in Portland, amongst other topics. Ended up coming back here w/b-day boy and LJ-less N where sat in camp chairs in the backyard since there's little other space given all the boxes yet to be unpacked. It's just so lovely looking up at the glowing sky through canopies of bare branched trees. Much giggling and good conversation ensued. Number theory makes more sense now. ROTGL has replaced ROTFL, where G = Ground. It's muddy here. I need doormats front & back, stat. Life = what we make of it = good. I think I need to go to bed soon.
